Question: Won't you read my five minute sonnet and comment!?
In sweet spring days when all the world is new
And life is circled 'round with love and light,
And golden gifts are clad in morning dew,
Then Fancy soars and wheels in each delight!.
But in the harsh glare of the midday sun
We come to know the cracks that have adorned
Those selfsame wonders, and we sigh as one --
The gifts we held so dear grow to be scorned!.
Alas, at eventide, when dusk descends,
We see anew a fine patina's glow,
And learn at last the secret that depends
On subtle shadows fading lights bestow!.
And yet, to see life's wonders in each time
Is to have lived, and loved, what is sublime!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
