I need to forget bright summer nights!. Do not drive fast, we must be slow! Can we rekindle sparks of the past!? Reach out your hand, switch on the dark! This is a new time in a strange land!. Or it could be that I like the line break on rekindle!. I enjoyed the poem Elaine!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Because I enjoy your work, especially the themes!. Like this one, it's epic, and can be taken to mean many things!. It could be a love poem or, as I took it, the end nearing and everything from here on out is going to be strange!. I see I'm not the only fan of "switch on the dark", that line is everything poetic!. The whole thing is poetic of course, but that line is just, well !. !. !. it's just perfect!. Edit: I made a few changes due to getting a thumbs down!. I didn't mean to leave "Because !. !. !." all by it self!. I put that there to remind myself to answer the question on top of the comment I had in my head!. Anyway, I apologize for a poor answer!.Www@QuestionHome@Com oh i'd like to comment because of the very exciting and jumpy lines!. I love the first verse, "no, turn them off!" you need to read it a few times to try and relate it with its title, but I think i know where your coming from!. It makes it seem as though you want the past to happen again, to "rekindle sparks of the past!?" It's very clever, most poems it's the past that is sad, but this one is a longing to get the past back again! nice!Www@QuestionHome@Com Because i love you!. And also because your poems, this one included, always make sense!. Not to say that other people's poem doesn't make sense!. But i feel that the essence in which your poems have been constructed is very brilliant! You always turn simple ideas into brilliant thoughts!.
