Question: Rate my short war poem!?
This is not an editorial; any war memorial’s story will
Make you wince at claims of glory from the gory scenes of bloodied streams
And the leaded screams of PTSD dreams
Still this violence is seen on reams of film strip made for movie screensWww@QuestionHome@Com

I think the layout is kind of awkward!. Otherwise, I like it!. One caveat, political poetry is very difficult to write, so look to some of the masters when it comes to war poetry!. People like Wilfred Owen and Keith Douglas are excellent sources for ideas, and fantastic examples to use for inspiration!.

On the specifics of this piece, I would say the rhyme scheme makes it a little sing-songy in places, but in all this is pretty solid stuff!. Good work!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
