Question: Kill Color!?
* Can anyone explain the "plumage" lines at the end!?

"Kill Color"

You don’t have to fly away -
I’ll be the one to escape!.
I can kill my own color!.
I need not weapons,
For what has died within
Has suffocated all else!.
When my eyes become colorless,
I have stricken!.
When I’ve befriended dementia,
I have won!.
It will be the only war
From which I will have emerged
Victorious!.
If it breathes vibrancy,
It will be choked!.
If it emanates life,
With time,
It no longer will!.
It will be killed,
But it can be saved…
Only if your plumage is still
Can it be saved…
Only if your plumage is still…Www@QuestionHome@Com

If I had to guess about this dark, passive-agressive poem, it would be that at the end of the poem, the author warns their now-ex-love interest not to attract either their old partner or any others with her feminine wiles or what have you, because the author still has feelings for her!.
Plumage may be more of a male's agent of atrtaction among birds, but the author may not know that!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
