I am hear for fun and to learn poetry!. I wrote my first poem at 16 and have never wrote another one until this year and I am 27!. I only just begun poetry and I am trying to teach myself different forms of poetry!. I like to try new things and would like to try all forms at least once!. Even the boring ones!. It's great to get honest critiques as they can high light your faults!. My saying is!.!.!. You can only become a better poet, when you receive an honest critique!.

Hear I thought you had grown some intelligents!. you are quite smart and you know it, It is a shame you waste your Glial Cells and turn them to glia, becauase as I said before youso could use them for more constructive purposes!. I don't know what happened between you and 'Reenie', I could only just prosume from your much loved charm that you display!. As for the subject of (Elyslunds poetry )!. I wouldn't let her get to you!. I have never critiqued her poetry ever and she has already blocked me, so obviously she has taken something I said to someone the wrong way!. As Elaine said to me!.!. you can't impress everyone!. I am now also blocked by one other guy now because I wrote a good morning Peom and he thought it was a waste of a post!. Everyone has the right to have their opinions!. Obviously I would like to know what I have said or done to Elyslund considering I have never spoken to her before both in reality and cyber space, but I am not going to loose sleep over it and obviosly if she has taken one of my jokes the wrong way and didn't like it, she did the best thing she could of done and blocked me!. I think who ever has blocked you, you have obviosly anoyed in some form of way!. If you know who they are, you may wan't to contact them and sppek and sought it out as an adult rather than a child because it is turning into a (*****-festeva!)!. I am another person who comes here for fun and I get quite a laugh from people like Neonman and TD and quite enjoy their poetry, I certainly have learnt a bit by people like Neonman and think he could teach you a thing or too, If you get off the almighty!I don't know what your problem is with (Elyslunds good morning poetry) I have seen them once or twice but never left a comment!. aswell as other people and I quite love the good morning poems, I think as I said to the other bloke who blocked me (LIGHTEN UP!) Obviosly if you don't like (Elyslunds good morning poetry) than don't view it!. And If she has already blocked you, she is doing you a favour so you don't have to worry about viewing her Good Morning Poem!. Neonman didn't have a crack at you because he didn't like what you said, he had a crack at you as you didn't have anything valid to say!. sometimes I have noticed you don't say anything or give advice about someones poem you just come by and leave a comment such as, (YOU HAVE BEEN LANOID) Which I am sorry to say is Lame but, I have seen you come on another of my post and leave a valid and impressive critique which not many have seen from you!.
Use your brain, Got something valid to say, than say it!. otherwise don't say anything and there is no need to be mean to people!.

If this question is aimed mainly at me, you will find, upon further examination, that my end comments in 'Iano's poem' were directed mainly at a particular answerer to your 'Is it jealousy!?' question, and only refers to you in passing!.

You say you come onto this site for fun!. That is not the point of it - it is to have questions answered!. If you (or anyone) can't take the good with the bad, then you're obviously not wanting honest feedback, you merely want to hear folk tell you how talented you are!. People like elyslund treat this site as their own personal fanclub, posting non-event 'pomes' merely as a way of saying 'good morning' to those who think the sun shines out of her posterior!. And those who respond to this kind of drivel are just as bad!. 'That was super!. Good morning to Snidley!.' This is mere chatting, which is against the rules!. If you want to belong to a little clique, telling each other how brilliant and talented you all are, why don't you simply email one another with your 'stuff' instead of cluttering up Answers with what is, in the main (with very few exceptions), utterly inane tosh!. Someone will post 6 lines about their budgie's diarrhoea, and in come the responses, extolling their work to the heavens and saying how deeply profound it is!.

The simple fact is, you need someone like me to bring you back to reality, and, sadly, the most effective way to do it is to administer a short, sharp rap across the knuckles!. If I write cr*p, I call it cr*p - I don't see why I should treat anyone else with less honesty!. Honesty - that's the best compliment I can pay anyone!

If you're looking for fun, you're in the wrong place, as you'd know if you read the guidelines!. (Which is NOT to say that you can't HAVE fun, only that it is not this site's primary purpose!. THAT is information!.)

I believe I was invited to respond to this question, so it's you that's on your high horse!. also, I don't block, report, complain or thumb anybody, so I consider your comments are more appropriately directed at those who do!. Your response ably demonstrates just how seriously you take yourself and your buddies, quite disproportionate to any manifestation of actual talent!. And if I wanted your opinion, I'd tell you what it is!. also, one poem of mine contains what you call 'street language', which I asterisked at my end!. The phrase you use is not even your own, but nicked from neonman!. You (or Bob M) even had to ask what other people thought of it before you could make up your own mind on the matter!. Another example of your lack of originality!. I note you only jump in when there's a crowd to hide behind!. Bit of a wuss, aren't you!? 'Bye, loser!.

And consider this!. The poem which Andrewlina refers to is probably one of the least I've ever written, yet it did not receive one negative comment!. (Which surprised me - it would have done had I responded to it!.) Kinda proves my point, eh!?

Bob M, it works BOTH ways - I read your poems and come away empty!. You DO need me (or someone like me), you're just not smart enough to realise it!. Yes, it was you (but not only you) who called me coward - something I find strange as I post these comments under my own name!. Remember the words of the song: "From the ashes of disaster grow the roses of success"!. However, one must first learn how to recognise a 'disaster'!. That you'll never do when all you want to hear is affirmation of how good you think you are!. (And I don't mean JUST you!.) Even if you don't agree with me, if my words make you stop and think, even for a moment, then that's a GOOD thing!.

Andy, what can I say!? I forgot!. I'll get your tutu back to you in the morning!. And I haven't been using any big words - you only think that 'cos you're not familiar with them!. (I don't know why you bother - you ALWAYS lose these battles of wits!. Then again, you ARE only half-equipped!.)

And I couldn't possibly accept your generous offer of the title of 'queen' - that belongs to you and I wouldn't want to deprive you of it!. You've enough to suffer, what with having no testicles or hair!. (And I see you and Bobby have been busy with the 'thumbs' again!. The injustice of it all!.)

Finally (hopefully), my responses to Andy were dictated by his attacks made on me in another question, so he initiated the 'tit-for-tat' (and he's the tit) nature of my replies to him!. He and his accomplice (neonman) later contacted one another to say what 'fun' they'd had, so it's a bit at odds with his current self-righteous, poor 'offended me' stance which he now displays!.

Attention, everyone!. I have just received an abusive email from Andrew M!. As he is not accepting replies, I think this demonstrates what a spineless worm he is!. Along with the abuse, he denies what was in a previous answer, in black and white, for everyone to read!. He and neonman (who has been well-behaved on this occasion, I must admit) were saying what fun they'd derived from a previous encounter with me!. Miss Andy's more-or-less actual words were "yes, it WAS fun, wasn't it!?"!. I'm sure some of you must have read it yourselves!. So not only is Andy a gutless wimp, he's a liar as well!. also, someone told me his son is the result of a 'grudge' pregnancy - somebody had it IN for him!

Here's Andy's hissy fits for all to read!. All spelling mistakes and poor punctuation are his and his alone!.

I find myself picking over my own stuff wondering if I should post , and wait for some kid to say it sucks when he hasn't a clue whata poem is!. I know that I'll take a few arrows and live with it!. For the first time in my life I've started counting syllables and trying to be less free form; I find I get more respect for my work!. Sometimes I feel I've really done good work only to see one or two responses!. I never see anybody in poetry get more than 20!. I have a desire to be better!. I know due to this experience I am better than when I started!. I wanted to say this because I think by being here and exposing ourselves to everyone that we will get better!.!.!.!. How good I am at this only time knows!. I do enjoy this place !.!.!. I am here to have fun and I try to either be constructive or witty, but never condescending; anyway like I told someone else somebody is paying attention!. me (smile)
