Good Afternoon, Ladies and Gentlemartians!.
Welcome to our first World Series game in
our brand new stadium,
the Isaac Asimov Memorial Dome!.
I am your announcer, M!. M!. Pavlov!.
There’s the Home Team, the Arachnoids,
coming onto the field!.
Let me introduce them to you, just in case
someone here is living on Planet Earth!.
Number 1, that extraordinary Pitcher--TD Euwaite
Number 2, the talented woman who has to catch it all--Sheryl
Number 3, First Base--Elysabeth
Number 4, Second Base--Elaine
Number 5,Third Base--Christine
Our amazing Catfielders are:
Number 6, Shortstop--George
Number 7, Left Field--Gracie
Number 8 Center Field--Leon
Number 9, Right Field--Felix
Oh, and there’s our Mascat, Whoopee!.
And last, but not least, our batbunnies, Scottie and Lottie!.
Let’s hope all of them will have nine lives!.
