Question: Is this a good night pome!?

This world is such a strange old place!.
Floats, elliptically in space,
spinning on its axis!.

North of Equator we’re broiling!.
South of it people are toiling
to stoke up their furnaces, warm!.

I like to sit right here and think
while I don’t write in pen and ink
I do use a keyboard!.
