Question: Did you have a guardian!?
Guardian

Guard well my belle, my precious little one
give her comfort, she needs support not fear!.
Give my dove your love, her life just begun
guard her here, for she is my little dear!.

Dispel demons evil light in her night
do not tarry or cause her great worry
delight in role she needs to settle fright!.
Dance forever, but never do hurry!.

The hours and days fly by, on this rely
tagging along is no longer required!.
Time to rest, look your best and stand by
till she needs you, stay true blue and rested!.

Her guardian, her friend… ever ready!.
How mighty you are to her, dear TeddyWww@QuestionHome@Com

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
Tyler has a teddy (Yes, the Marine)
Who lies upon his pillow
with the little star pinned on,
that says "Sheriff Teddy!."
He keeps the little six year old
very close to his heart,
for he's the one who named him sheriff
of this little room
He lies and waits patiently
for his boy to come on home
so he won't have to sleep there anymore,
cold and all aloneWww@QuestionHome@Com

This is amazing!. The Elyslundian sonnet is so complex!.!.!.I could never dream of attempting one, not without a dictionary length description of precisely what to do!. However, this poem evokes nostalgia!.!.!.I had a stuffed cat, named Joyce (this will be ironic to some that I know, it's okay, relax) But she was my guardian!.!.!.her face is still stained with childish tears!.

But at least she didn't talk back and manage to confuse my brain!. That's nice when one is grieving!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I cannot write a printable Elyslundian sonnet!. The form seems to be one I can't get my brain around!. Strange, because my reactionary nature reaches out to formal and classical poetry!. I have been working on this form for weeks and have just about given up!. Congratulations to you!Www@QuestionHome@Com

How sweet a surprise, Teddy!
As a child my son, I tucked him in, I wanting to remove some
of his stuffed items from his bed said, "No their my guards!."
I never had a guard, but I have made a many for funny little kids!.
A sweet,sweet poem!. KudosWww@QuestionHome@Com

This brought a clear image of my daughter asleep, thumb in mouth, arm draped over her ''bedtime bunny', away with the fairies (who are her friends)!.
Lovely, thank you!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
