It's not a proper rhyming poem, it's meant to convey a feeling!.

Man you gotta wake up and see
I won't take orders for much longer
I just wait til I'm round the corner
Till I put my make-up on
I wear trousers when you're not there
I dance to the radio's songs
I touch the ceiling, I email boys
I even slide down the bannister!.
I'm not going to stay behind
And be what you want me to be
I'm going to follow my dreams
But I'm not leaving my siblings behind
You can like it or lump it mate
There are worse things in life to do
Than to become a singer, and dance on stage
I mean, you could be a lawyer (ouch!)
You'lll never read this poem
You'll never dream that I wrote it
You'll never feel how it hurts to be told
