just shoot me…”
I was tempted
Such a trite thing to say
But…
Even though it went against
all I had made myself to be
I couldn’t
“No”
I said flatly
tossing her the gun that
rightfully
belonged in her hand
“Honor permits me
to just walk away!.
I have given you
your life…
and your lovers”
Her face questioned
“I don’t go against my contracts…
EVER!
Be grateful”
She would walk away
return to her love’s arms
Me…!?
the only way
I could escape my agreement
was to kill the one I made it with
-I want to know if you think this is anticlimactic… Could I continue it!? Or should I leave it for now!? There is always room for a sequel later on down the e-road… But I think this one should be laid to rest…

Well done, however I feel there was only 2 scenes in this series- in the coffee shoppe and in the alley way!. Somehow I'm looking for more!. It's as if she got the job, came out, was immediately confronted and walked away showing how weak she actually is, rather than strong!. But since we don't want bloodshed we really can't have anyone being shot not even the Big Boss!. Maybe she should just find Kay and help her and her lover to escape!. (assuming also there is someone else the Boss has employed to follow Charlotte to ensure the hit was made!. Could that person also be female and a secret admirer of Charlotte) Then there is room for another conflict and outcome!.
Story wise it is too short for me!. Yes please have a break and come back to it, by all means!. We need a breather too!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
I liked the last 2 lines - a "clean" way out of the dilemma!. But do not limit your "resolution" of your agreement by killing!. There may be more possibilities - to that relationship - that will make a better story and not be so final!. ?Www@QuestionHome@Com
