Question: Want a poetry challenge!?
I'm bored!. Let's see who can do the best with this:
*Write a short poem that rhymes, with three verses, 4 stanzas
each!.
*Try to keep the meter similar in all stanzas!.
*1st verse: Happy!.
2nd verse: Angry!.
3rd verse: Sad!.
Write about whatever topic you want, but all three verses have to tie together!.
Let me make up something!.!.!.
The strings add sunshine to my night,
his voice outshines the stars!.
And even dreaming of his song
as mine puts music in my heart!.
But no!.!.!.is he not what he seems!?
His words are turning hollow
as if his lips sing by themselves
while my soul blindly follows!
I wish he would have sung for me,
my whole being would have listened!.
but he just plays his empty songs

First Verse:
My favorite time of day is the morning I am HAPPY to say!
I wake up realizing God has granted me yet another day!.
My soul and heart are filled with a grateful and spiritual attitude:
"Do Unto Others !.!.!." is my own choice instead of becoming rude!.
Second Verse:
But once upon the busy streets, car horns and people's tempers flare;
I wish I could reach out to everyone and make them all aware
That being so ANGRY serves no good purpose at all in our lives ~
Instead, love and harmony are better feelings for us to strive!.
Third Verse:
Some will listen to me, just as others will choose not!.
I tell myself I've done my best and no matter what,
If sometimes I let myself become frustrated and oh so very SAD,
I pray the morning be another gift from God, which quickly makes me glad!

Saying "I do" was the best thing ever
