"Meaningful Affair" - acrostic quadrifid
Kisses whisper on the secrets of my soot-stained soul,
Indicting against me the vows I swore
Never to give another my heart!.
Damned against time, I find without you I am not whole,
Regretting that I can't give anything more,
Even so, my ring and I must part!.
Doomed before we even had a start,
Scared to death, I will still grasp your precious hand!.
Obedience to a different god, one without shame!.
Up 'til this moment, we could play it smart!.
Listen to me now, forbidden love can stand!.
Stay with me, we were wrong, we should both take the blame!.
