alone in the dark
never felt so sad
not knowing it all
i did what was wrong
i invaded your privacy
it made me face reality
i shouldve seen this coming
who knew
a couple words
would make me cry
alone in the dark
never felt so sad
i shouldve known
you wont be here forever
that makes me apreciate
what youve done
when dad wasnt near
or wasnt himself
you never left
never felt by myself
alone in the dark
never felt so sad
you shed a tear
cause you got choked
i shed a tear
cause i feel all alone
you could die out there
i dont wanna see you dead
or ,your body, have to identify
alone in the dark
never felt so sad

The couple of words
I am sensing something was said
that was not nice and hurtful!.
I am also sensing this is an apology
because of the line
I never realized what I did
was wrong!.
It is also about someone who may have died
because of the lines alone in the dark,
never shed a tear
In this case this is about guilt
and feeling ashamed!.
There is much sadness
and grief
