Hello young lady,

No one is ever useless, for we all have something that we can contribute to the world!.
As for you becoming a poet, like everything else it starts with a thought, an idea if you like that is simple!. Get it down on paper and ponder in your mind what you can do with that idea!.
The end words do not have to rhyme, but usually it is easy to put in rhyming words, in doing so you will feel that you have achieved what you set out to do; write a poem!.
Read others poets works and see which style you fancy, and very soon you will find the one that you feel happy to adopt!.
Start off with just a simple four stanza (Verse) poem of say six words in each line!. Very soon you will begin to get the feel of writing a poem and new ideas will eventually come to you!.

Have a bit of faith in yourself and I feel that in the near future we shall be reading your first poem!.
