I tend to think of Achilles more than Ulysses, but then, the Odyssey has yet to grow on me!. It seems that while the definition of a `Converb' is very specific, this genre is largely co-extensive with the epigram in practice!. On the other hand, I consider myself reasonably well versed in a few areas of formal linguistics and philology, and from my perspective, I don't think of the Altaic converb as a major enough idea for it to be worthwhile to avoid a conflict!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
