Question: All that glitters ain't gold!. Now is it!?
At days end
I turn to bright skies
Here comes the sun
I watch the birds
Northbound on this cold day
Seeking answers
My head in the wind
Yet none are found
I'm grounded
Rolled stones
Covered in moss
While wise men ponder
A new day begins
Staring West I'm blinded
By sunrise
Surprise
Another day in Paradox

Where are the sun glasses, A neat , tricky poem, that says much!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'm not even going to try to critique this one - other than nothing makes sense!. Sunrise in the West really got me going - but "Paradox" was a useful word to include!. What a reaction you might have gotten if that word had only been in the title and not the poem itself!. My fault - I usually jump right into the poem without reading the title!. I would have really been in rapt confusion ?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Not all that tempts your wandering eyes
And heedless hearts, is lawful prize,
Nor all that glisters, gold !

Staring south, where compass points, east is to my left! Tis a world of wondrous things this paradox!. Now go to your room for as you said "your grounded!."Www@QuestionHome@Com

Eh, not too bad!. Better than a lot of the poetry I read on here!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
