Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: in my opinion its because it pulls more people in it gets to them!.!.!.!.just like i imagine you would get the same response with poems about babies and maybe even weddings because evry day events evry day happyness isnt always enough to grab someones attention and pull them in its the gut wrenching powerful emotions that you more often find and identify with in the sad depressing stuffWww@QuestionHome@Com because now days more kids or teens can relate to depressing stories or poems!.
