Question: Do you ever forget!? Do you sometimes have to remember, again!?
The Moon Shadow song was
playing and there was a
jumped up nerve feel to the whole
ride
down the black highway
with one good lane
staying right and
letting the movers and shakers
thick blur flowing go
by, go
left and away and we
veered right into the
moment that we both
knew meant more than songs and cars
and we stayed quiet about the
big stuff and strangled that
two hours for every
drop of neon red it could give us
and two weeks later
she wore white and
I had classic black
and that highway
still has one good lane and
one

A little vague on your poem I'm sorry, but i,m guessing it's about your life when you married your wife, the life in brief you had with her and the (one bad one) at the end of your poem stating that your belovered has passed on and you lost your sole-mate!. which is sad to here, if that is the case!. I think maybe you needed to re-word it differently!. because it's hard to grasp!. Am I even remotely on the right track!?
