Why should I let the toad work
Squat on my life!?
Can't I use my wit as a pitchfork
And drive the brute off!?

It sits in malevolent silence
Overseeing my every move!.
Blinking and licking its eyeballs
Intimidation the torturer's tool!.
Its warty compelling presence
in the corner of my office room
Keeps my nose to the grind-stone
Disfiguring my promising youth!.
Why should I let the toad work
Squat on my life!?
The alternative is life-long leisure
- known as idleness and sloth!.
Those disgusting fat slimy slugs
Salivating inside my head!.
Mating and multiplying
When I should be working instead!.

Toad poisoning is a serious malady!. I would suggest a pint to opine about the disease, another to gather courage and one more before you summon hubby to dispatch the bugger!
