I don't understand this stanza, but I can find two poetic devices!.

1) On line three: alliteration of initial /m/ sounds!.
2) Figurative language/metaphor: `lighted windows/!.!.!.made/a hundred private worlds' compares the insides of buildings to `private worlds!.'

I don't understand `made mysterious' in line two, though!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
