I've been pondering why people oftentimes are not themselves-
this is what I got!.!.!. A poem

Bright eyes,
Looking beyond white lies,
And words told with a foot underwater!.
Unrelenting smiles,
Wrapped up in a movie make-up cacoon,
Hanging from the thread
of a lopsided branch!.
Minor moments seeming
Meaningful,
Wordy phrases
And silences that
Fall short of merely scrathing the surface
Of the falling away,
Pottery broken into a thousand fragments,
