Question: Food for the poor!?
Glut and greed
Jived awkwardly,
The hungry band could only
Play two beats to the bar
Deceit and deception
Ran the marathon
Without competition
The weak could not walk
Wanton and wickedness
Sparred in the boxing ring,
Butterflies and bees were there
Others could not afford a ticket
Deceit and deception
Discussed honor,
Neither understood
Ethics were owned by the poor
Wealth and wickedness
Soured themselves,
Fluid antacids were drunk
From golden table-spoons
The helpless and the hungry
Will they survive!?
Or will their death prove that
Hope does not spring eternal!?

i really like this poem i myself write and i can't help but feel after reading it like 5 times that you held back a little while writing it poems are all about making a bold statement this is a great poem i'd love to read more !.!.!.!. next time you right something try to let out everything your feeling so that your word even when being read will pounce off the page at the reader and make them feel what your saying!.!.!.!. good job !.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
