I'm now 52!. Writing poetry is as essential to me as !.!.!. food and drink is to living!. I write less when I'm under stress now because I've found that they are self-indulgent nonsense!. After all, no one likes a whiner, right!? Most of my pieces are sonnets (hence my name here) although, lately, I've started writing sestinas!. I prefer fixed forms because, unless I have a clearly defined beginning, middle, and end, I tend to wander!. The same goes for my prose !.!.!. :-)Www@QuestionHome@Com yes, I have written many poems in my lifetime!. My first I wrote at 8 but the first one which was written well was at 14 and have written atleast 80!. Actually, about 180 but I don't like 100 of them!. so the bad ones don't count!.Www@QuestionHome@Com I have written a poem, I did it on the spur so i didnt keep a copy after I sent it to my friend!.
