Question: Criticize people! How do you think I write!?
Burst of inspiration during class!. Mind you, I was twelve when I wrote this!.
This is inspired (cliche - right!?) by two girl's deaths!. One from a heart problem (aged 11) and another from a lung disease (aged 5)!. I know I sound blunt and uncaring but this is not an explanation I want to linger on!.
I am the mind behind the hand
The hand behind the pen
The pen behind words jotted down on paper!.
I am the lips that part
The words they form
Setences strung in air
Smiles etched on film for later
I am the howl of the wolf
A desperate cry for help
A sinking ship
A doll on a shelf
I am a relentless runner
I throw caution to the wind
My pace is my heartbeat

Not great, but i like it!.
Very original, not like the usual
Generic stuff, but different, that's what sets it apart!.
The last stanza was my favorite for sure!.

it doesnt really sound like it was inspired by the deaths of two young children
its really good though!
the only line im not so sure about is the seventh one
"smiles etched on film for later"
it doesnt sound as poetic as the rest of the poem, doesnt really match
