Question: Yahweh the Lord of my calling; Care to comment!?
Lord, I press against the flesh
Moments of pleasure that steals joy
Searching, I find wer'e not worthy
I plead you won’t destroy

Am I searching or are you leading!?
Your word was that my calling!?
I empty my sins with wailing
Led me to those still waters

That cleansed me
Healed me
Changed me
Transformed my life

Searching for, The Lord Jesus Christ
All my wounds, you bath with light
Yet, still I find I’m enticed
Eating crumbs, from the table of my birthright

How shall I then pray!?
When you showed me the wretchedness of self
In the midst my soul cries, Yahweh!Www@QuestionHome@Com

We need to put on our clothes!. He clothes Himself with light as a garment!. We need to put on that anointing!. We all have sinned and come short of His glory!. Great poem very uplifting!. Jesus was uplifted (on the cross) so we wouldn't be dragged under to Hell!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

That's quite good!

It shows God's compassion & mercy without knocking us in the head with extreme guilt!.

Good job! It's nice to read a religious poem that doesn't preach!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
