Question: I need help improving my poem!? how is it so far!?

My life is like a blank slate
Waiting for the handf of fate
To come along and write my lifes song
Ive suffered no tragedies known no deep loss
The closest thing to that is I have a mean boss
He says I go through my days in a slight haze
But Im wondering when does it all begin
When will real life with all its deep sorrows and happiness set it
So for right now Ill keep plodding along
Just waiting for the start of my life's song!.

It kind of makes me think!.!.!.idk!.!.!.like you feel like you're missing out on life!.!? Don't get me wrong, feelings are what make a good poem! but is that the idea and feelings you were aiming for!?
