Question: What would I do without him!?
Married to a Red-Neck has advantages!

“Sweetie, I need your help!."
(Groan, putting down my paint brush!.)
“Hokey, dokey…here I am…what help!?”
“Hold this railroad tie steady, please!.”
“Why!?”
“Because I need you to steady it while I cut it!”
“We’re laying tracks!?”
“Don’t be a smart…”
(I just thought to inject some humor into the situation…sheesh!}
“I’ll bite!. For what use!?” (My arms are getting a bit tired here!.)
“Going to lay them under the trash can!.”
“Oh! Joy! So that it’s high enough I don’t have to climb on a
stone to reach over the fence!?”
“Just so!”
(Reaching across to place a soft kiss on the sweated brow!.)
“Woman…get back to holding the tie!”
“Yes, Sir!” (You old sweetie…ice cream on the deck will
await you!)Www@QuestionHome@Com

Oh, wow - you're back!. I love these exchanges - it's just as if I'm a neighbour eaves-dropping behind the fence!. I've just gone back inside to say to my dear one 'Do you know, I love that lady next-door!. Pretends to be crotchety, but I know better'
