Question: What is that one poem!?
I can't remember what this poem is!.!.!.I think the name of the poem is someone's name, like it has "sir!.!.!.something" in it!. It was really long - like several pages!.

The only part I remember was it saying something about fog curling up around the windowsill or something!.

But I remember the meter was really cool!.
For some reason I'm thinking it might have been written by a French poet!? Or maybe the poem has to do with France!?

It is a love poem!. It's really famous I think!.

Years ago, my poetry teacher in school gave it to the class - it was her favorite poem - and I remember it was like 4 or 5 full pages long!. And really good!.

Any ideas what it might be!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

You might be thinking of "The Love Song of J!. Alfred Prufrock" by T!.S!. Eliot!. The poem contains these lines about the fog:

The yellow fog that rubs its back upon the window-panes,
The yellow smoke that rubs its muzzle on the window-panes
Licked its tongue into the corners of the evening,
Lingered upon the pools that stand in drains,
Let fall upon its back the soot that falls from chimneys,
Slipped by the terrace, made a sudden leap,
And seeing that it was a soft October night,
Curled once about the house, and fell asleep!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I don't know what it might be!. But it might be by William Shakespear!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
