Question: Hi! I'm from Germany and!.!.!.!?
need a help with a poem!?
We're going to make an "American Album" with facts about the States of the U!.S!.A!.!.!. I'm also here at Yahoo! to improve my English!.!.!. (so you can tell me if I wrote something weird!.!.!.)
However, we have to make a "poem", and the verses should begin with each letter from the word "AMERICA"!.!.!.
for example:
A lot of!.!.!.
M !.!.!.
E!.!.!.!.
and so on!.!.!.
but I have no ideas! The rest of my Album is going to be great, but I don't know what poem I could write!!
(So I hope I wrote well enough that you could understand what I want to say ;) )

Hello Alex, your English seems very reasonable to me!. Far better than my German, despite my many visits to Germany!
You say the VERSES have to begin with the letters of the word "America", but I believe you mean that each LINE has to start with a letter - right!?
Does it also have to rhyme!? You're familiar with that word, I hope!? I'll presume it does, and that each line should have a word at the end that sounds like the word at the end of the line before!.
OK!.
For your poem you just need to think of a theme - a subject - a topic!. Something that brings it all together!.!.!.or is the subject facts about America!?
Here's an example - very simple - of the kind of thing I mean!. My theme was State symbols - that started me off!.

All of the States of America have a symbol,
Many have animals, insects, birds or flowers!.
Each has identity, presence, a geography comparable,
Ranges and valleys and hillsides, sunshine and showers!.
In my experience, though, each is distinct and is different!.
Calm and welcoming or bustling and busy - indifferent!.
All of the States of America have seen me as vagrant!.
I can't resist being stupid with the last line, but my point is that once you have a theme it's easy; get that going, and the first line, and you'll be away!.
Perhaps a rhyming dictionary might help!? See my source!.
