Question: Poetry '!?', very important! Please take a look!!?
Okay, for a while now I have been seeing people post things like "Whats with all these lame poems on here" or "is any of this really poetry or any of you real poets!?" then they go on to say “I bet that none of you have ever really been published, if you were you wouldn't post it here”
And I'm getting sick of it!, why do people that don't write poetry, don't like reading poetry and hate poetry come on "POETRY" and tell every one that there poetry is stupid and lame and that they write like they are 12-15 years old!! Well how would they know if they cant write themselves or they don't read it!?
I have seen alot of people on Y! that write very very good, but still there HAS to be people that say all of it except 1% is any good!. Now my question is this;
Why do these jerks and poetry 'bashers' come on Y! Poetry and say stupid things, like all of it is childish!? if they don't like it then why come read it!?
Gosh it upsets me so very much!
Okay one more thing, if you don't like poetry then DONT READ IT!(to those who are poetry bashers and come on Y! "POETRY")
I don't care if people don't believe that I have been published before because I know I have, but it really makes me upset to see these people saying that writers on Y! Cant be real because they are posting there poetry on this site!. I do it for fun and to get feedback on my stuff, to read other poetry and help if I can!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Finally somebody says something im tired of people blankly stating i don't like poetry but i answered your question anyway!.I don't care if they say they hate my poem but if you don't even like poetry in the first place why are you even answering do you think my poem is pathatic and girly because it doesn't even rhyme which is what this guy said but what he stated was alot worst that i had to delete my poem,i write to express my emotinos not to be bashed and put them up here just to see if i have to edit it since im just sixteen and nort professional,i write poems that rhyme most of the time but no this one

I agree, this should be a forum where people can express themselves, poetry is great and comes from the heart, I once wrote a poem about my friend who was dying at the time, and 12 people replied saying it was lame and that they hope my friend died soon so he wouldn't have to read my awful work!. People can be so insensitive, people that have the courage to ask peoples opinion of their work should be encouraged not critisized all the time!.
Don't be put off, keep writing your poetry and ignore the knuckleheads who comment and never actually write any themselves, all they can do is insult people who do!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
Maybe to make up for their lack of writing abilities, they feel the need to bash those who do have the talent :)
I am slowly learning to just ignore these people!. I can't lie, some of the comments I have received do hurt but then again, how much value should I put towards a comment from someone who claims to not even like poetry anyway!? None, in my opinion!. Besides the trolls, I think this is a great place to post and get feedback!.!.!.!.and I love love love all of my contacts here!Www@QuestionHome@Com
