Question: Poem - too depressing!?
Each time these wings of mine
try to fly they fail me everytime
These trustless wings of fake desire
are doomed to always decline
Just like my soul they are bound so tight
to keep them from falling apart
But every now and then they loosen
and out leaks this blackheart
These wings that were so white and pure
could fly as high as heaven
You came along had your way
and left them badly broken
Still time will heal this wounded soul
and though my wings will never again be white
I'll breakfree from these bandages

No I don't find it depressing at all, especially since you -- GASP -- broke emo/goth tradition by establishing a feeling of hope at the close of the piece!. I do however find the meter a little too stretched in places!. That's the only complaint I have, so good piece!. :)Www@QuestionHome@Com
