Question: How does the spider know!?

How can spider plant know
that Spring is here!?
Crawling up the window shade,
green shoots bulleted with buds,
never has she felt the other side
of the closed kitchen window,
never has she been caressed
by the salted ocean air!.
Yet she grows in joy and glory,
how does she know

It is the spirit moving in all things that lets Nature know these things, these seasonal changes!. That little spider plant is a lesson for human beings who are no longer in touch with this spirit, this energy!. People become so self osbsessed and alienated from Nature, and that leads to the behaviors that are destroying this planet!. This is a wonder of a poem, full of meaning and joy!. I love it!. I didn't know that Spider Plants could "Crawling up the window shade" - usually my Ivy plant wants to do that!. The Spider must be close to the window - to rest "her arms" against it and crawl!. My Spider is just hanging out - in a basket - arms dangling - like this:

Being a living organism!.!.!. it communicates with nature as humans (and other creatures) communicate with one another!.

It's sort of funny to think!.!.!. plants seem to coexist with nature; whereas, humanity seems more parasitic the larger our population grows!.!.!. just an observation!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
