Walk on the sand,
on the very same land,
Where Khufu (called Cheops)
built pyramids!.

Your feet touch the
sun-baked dunes
and Egypt is revealed to you!.

The Nile, blue and white
grows the grain that feeds the goats
and fills the bellies of children
born four thousand years ago…

YES! And as I walk, I'll sing a Bangles song!. So long ago, four millennia and the desert is largely unchanged!. Who will be here on Earth in 4,000 years!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Form and structure makes me tired too, but I love the challenge of it!. Anyhow, word should be themselves whether used with a "Template" or freely flowing!. I very much enjoy free form poetry just as much as structured and this is an excellent example of a well written free form poem with exceptional imagery!. I saw myself standing on the "sun-baked dunes"Www@QuestionHome@Com
