in an exam!? you get laughed at by the examiner in coursework, its stupid as you have the text!. when your having a conversation no one really cares!.

It is acceptable to say: "To paraphrase (name of author)" and then give the changed quote!. Sources should always be mentioned, especially in print--online or traditionally on paper!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
