At a door
The street narrowed ahead
while my thoughts whirl
as I wonder how my held
beliefs now are unsure!.
Sharp slashes of wind
digging like your words
remembering it cut my skin
leaving my senses absurb!.
Yesterday my mind screamed
certained my eyes deceive
believing it was a dream
not realizing you'd leave!.
The rain drowns my shirt
like memories of every kiss
surprised at how it hurt
it lead me here to this!.
Yesterday your words hung
not knowing your sadness
regretting holding my tongue
and how next to you I miss!.
Smiling to familiar smells
I slowly walk to this door
still you grip a spell
