“I told you he was not dead!” She screams!.
Sandal Walker almost jumps out of her robes as
Cornplanter appears from the forest wall!. He has the
pelts of many squirrels with him!. The land he has
found must be bountiful!.
“Where have you been for two moons,” his wife asks
as she holds high the washboard!.
“I have been to Topeka, where they have Walmart!.” With that,
Cornplanter opens his pack to expose the shining new
combination clock radio and CD player that he has
brought for her!.
Just as he sets down his sack, Sandal Walker pounces
on him like a mountain lion cub, and there was much joy!.
