Coop,
This poem is indeed sad
but it is written beautifully
The first two lines I am interpreting
a child begs by the road for life
I am sensing survival
As life goes by are the
next two lines!.
People are reaching out to help one
another and to comfort the unfortunate!.
Dreams of warmth
this would be a roof over the head and a
bed to sleep in!.
Yet the boy continually begs for love
which touches the other people's heart
No love to give
as a result the other people with tear filled eyes!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

"To much,'!.!.!.!.the people cry" - It seems that the people are so overcome with the sadness of the event - that they can not even respond - and pick-up and give comfort - to the tiny child!. Though they have "tears" - they must be of the crocodile kind!. ;-) ?Www@QuestionHome@Com
