Writing poems?

Question: Writing poems!?

I have a dream journal in which I write down all my dreams I can remember!. Some of them are really cool and weird, so I thought they could be an excellent source of inspiration for poems!. The problem is, that every time I try to change a dream into a poem it looks like a story, or even a speech!. Any hints on how to write a poem (that tells a story) that actually looks like!.!.!.a poem!?Www@QuestionHome@Com
