What is a really easy way to memorise a poem??

Question: What is a really easy way to memorise a poem!?!?

I have to memorise a 1- minute long poem!. Its not really the type of poem to memorise it as a song, any other ideas!?!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Read it just before you are about to sleep, so many people have told me that you remember things a lot more when you do this!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

you need to try to find a rhythm in the poem
or
try to make the words turn into pictures in your head!. what ever that line is talking about, create a picture to go with it
or
remember one word in each line, so when you are reciting it you can recall that word and it should jar your memory

Understand the poem, and picturize it!. Repeat every stanza a few times so that you can remember it better!. But the main thing is acknowledging the essence of the poem so that reciting it will seem more like narrating a story you know well!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

it's easy if poem is in ur heart!!!!.!.!.try to understand what the poem means, read carefully each word not with ur mouth but by ur heart!.!.!.!.understanding each and every message will help u memorize it!.!.not only for school if it's a requirement but u will surely get what's the author wants to say!.!.!.so eventhough time passes by!.!.!.u will still remember that certain poem!.hope it helps:-)Www@QuestionHome@Com

read it over and over, then read one stanza and repeat it aloud a few times and repeat with the others!. just like memorizing answeres for a test in school, good luckWww@QuestionHome@Com
