The rain to the wind said,
'You push and I'll pelt!.'
They so smote the garden bed
That the flowers actually knelt,
And lay lodged--though not dead!.
I know how the flowers felt!.

The theme is survival!. Rain and wind symbolize all the trials and tribulations we have to deal with in life!. The flower is a strong person who has not been taken down by the rain and wind!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
