This is the information for the original BBC broadcast (1965)

Burton reads The Rime of the Ancient Mariner by Samuel Taylor Coleridge, with Robert Hardy and John Neville!.

(The BBC seems to be in the process of trying to get all of their previous audio online, but I'm sure it's a mammoth undertaking!. I recommend the BBC radio website anyway, because it's 1,000 times better than any radio in the U!.S!. and will have readings by and talks with authors of all kinds!.)

Regis Records (a British outfit) sells an anthology of audio recordings with this reading, but it seems to be on vinyl:

A horrifically expensive cassette (I'm sure because it's no longer manufactured), but at least it gives you a picture so you can look for it at garage sales and yard sales and such:

One thing I'd suggest is going to your local library (or calling a reference librarian) to see if they can find a copy of ANY recording via interlibrary loan!. Then you can get it that way!.

I'll also include a Wikipedia article on Caedmon audio!. They have a long tradition of making readings of literature (often by the authors themselves) very affordable!. Unfortunately, though, they seem to still be confined to cassettes!.

This was originally a book, and then turned into a movie - I am not confident that richard Burton was in the movie as it is not listed in his movie catlogue!. Amazon!.co!.uk do provide details of how to get the movie and the book!. Take a look at the link below
