Sat at my computer
and thought I would write
something kind of catchy
to post, tonight
didn't want it to be long
it might get boring
I don't want them to forget it
or wind up snoring
I want them to see, me
through each word I use,
I want them to know why
I try to pay my dues
I want them to understand
this is my passion
it needs no deciphering
it comes without ration
I want them to read this
and say that's just Laura
and hopefully they will remember me
