Question: Will you rate my poem from 1-10 (1 bad) !?
DREAM WORLD
In my garden, on a bench
With daisies spread about,
I sit to see the moment
When the sun comes out!.
My world is in that instant
When all things seem to cease!.
With pen and paper in my hand
My thoughts run out with ease!.
Trapped no more, by a world,
With pain and tears that flow!.
I'm free to think, and feel, and love
With all my soul aglow!.
In my garden by a shore,
With tadpoles swimming near,
I wade, and splash, and give a glance
Toward all the things I hear!.
Blue jays singing sweetly
Upon a tree so high,
And though the leaves reveal
Clouds swiftly passing by!.
Wind blows gently through the leaves,
The colors seem to grow
With blues, and greens, and golden gleams,
Drifting to and fro!.
And even though my time stands still
Inside my garden walls,
The outside world is passing by
Without a thought at all!.
Some day you’ll see that I am back
Sitting by that shore,
Or maybe sitting on my bench

I would give an 8!. Although the imagery is outstanding and language clear, there are two stanzas-2&5- where I get lost!.The rhythm is remarkable-excellent; and if you submit the poem, to the right target market!. it can be published easily[if it is not published already]!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I personally liked it!.
At first, I was somewhat distracted and didn't want to read it because it looked long and didn't have a hook in the first stanza!. try to capture the reader's interest that point!.
Kudos for rhyme!.!.!.I always like that in a poem!.
Meditation is fun, keep up with it, it really helps in life!.
It is a very good poem, so I will give it a78!.5!. Remember that a 10 poem is a remarkable poem that will be read by school students years after!.!.!.!.and are written after a long duration in the writing career!.
Keep it up, and you can only get better!.
But then again, whats more important!? What the poet meant when writing the poem or what one gets out of it!?Www@QuestionHome@Com
