Question: Can I get opinions on this poem!? Kinda stupid I wrote it six years ago!!?

Here it is, I expect when I wrote it that I thought it was funny!. It isn't really now that I read it again!.

The Snake

The slimy, slippery, silver snake
stupidly sat on a wire gate
He fell, he fell, he fell so far
he landed on the back of a Model-T car!
Old man Ford was off his rocker,
he shut snakey up in a locker!
Snakey came out in a terrible state
and never again would he sit on a gate!.

Anything that you write or create yourself is something to be proud of!. It has a very entertaining aspect to it, and is something that could be read to anyone of any age, which a lot of poetry cannot boast about!. Never, ever say your work is stupid!. You could say it is a work in progress, or it needs some rework, or editing, but anything from your mind or heart is worth in the least a good word from yourself, whether anyone else likes it or not!.
