Question: What does the poem "this is my letter" by Emily Dickinson mean!? I cant understand what shes trying to put out
This is my letter to the world,
That never wrote to me,
The simple news that Nature told,
With tender majesty!.

Her message is committed
To hands I cannot see;
For love of her, sweet countrymen,
Judge tenderly of me!

I think she is trying to say the earth is blind of colors and we should be too (race)!. Though when she was a child her parents did not teach her of ethnics and diversity!.
But thats just what I get out of the poem!.
Other people will have other views!.
good luck with the search :)Www@QuestionHome@Com
