Question: Ok my teacher wants me to make a 4stanza poem about 12 powerful verbs : explain , compare , contrast ,and more
i have no idea about how to put ; explain , infer , compare , contrast , summarize , support , trace , analyze , evaluate , formulate , describe , and predict in a poem with four stanzas!. here is what my teacher said !.!.!.!.!.!.!.
Your poem or lyrics MUST CLEARLY DEMONSTRATE YOUR UNDERSTANDING of one or more of the 12 Powerful Verbs !. You can concentrate on just one term , choose several , or cover all twelve !. I want you to be creative with this assignments !. Have fun with it !

First and foremost, don't give up!. Your teacher clearly says you don't have to write a poem on all 12 verbs and that you can concentrate on one or many!. The easiest is probably, "compare", because you probably compare things all the time!.!.!.all you have to do is to compare a few things in a poetic form!.!.!.which does NOT have to rhyme!. So, you only have to demonstrate that you understand what "compare" means, which you can do by showing examples!.!.!.for example,
Shall I compare my youth to an apple
that is grown full size but still is green!?
How bitter my life tastes here and now
But shall it sweeten red as I mature!?
And shall my age at last grow wilted
Shrunken of skin and dried up inside!?
Or eaten by a love in all its ripeness
When it's time for my seeds to grow!?
That is a comparison poem (you don't have to use it) because it draws a comparison of your "life/youth" to that of an apple, where you start out "green" and go through many stages before at last you are shrunken with age and your vigor has dried up!. You can write on any subject like this and the lines do not have to rhyme, they just have to draw "comparisons" in words you'd normally use or that paint an image that others can understand!.
