How can it be!?

Sizing me, sensing me, seeing me
Am I that easy!?

Daring me, taunting me, teasing me
Damn! I will get him!.

He can’t be that smart, we are superior
Besides, he’s just a squirrel!

I bet they are laughing, those little tree rats have a weird sense of humor -- cute, but cunning!. I've been fighting with them all spring over the bird feeders!. One day I switched to thistle seed so they'd stop hanging on the feeder, and they just chewed right through the rope dropping the feeder to the ground in pieces!. I know they're still laughing at me!.

I have more trouble with their cousins, Chip and Dale!
enjoy feasting on wires of my car! I,m told 'cause the wires
are coated with peanut oil! So bold those brats are, I one day
spied Dale or Chip relaxing on a shelf below my car's bumper, to my surprise! Racing out there with my moth balls

They do laugh!. Next time to see one looking down at you listen closely and you'll hear the chuckling!. I'm more of a squirrel person than a bird person so they are welcome in my yard!. The only problem is that they will pelt me with pecans from my pecan tree as I'm working in the yard!. I haven't caught one yet, but I'm sure they let those nuts go after winding up first!.
