Can we make this mess
A message!?
Whenever we see brutality fester,
Will we massage it's ego!?
Condemnation it deserves!.
As it serves to break men like twigs!.
What was once the crack of a whip
Is now the shot of a gun!.
Ask Sean Bell!.
I walk the streets in fear of my life!.
Searching alleys and police cars alike!.
Knowing not when the angel of death will strike me!.
Must I beware of the thugs
And the badge!?
Will my blood paint the sidewalk!?
When did citizens become suspects!?
Who can I elect,
To protect me from 50 shots!?
