The first two are sonnets, although you could say that he subverts the form so thoroughly (by using lower-case letters in place of capitals, by employing slant rhymes, by running words together, etc!.) that the poems may not be immediately recognizable as sonnets!. The third one uses deliberately sub-literate tough-guy lingo to make a sophisticated point about art and love!. The fourth one is a poem about the death of an American icon!.
