Question:

Tyler bought this card for me a few years back!. I love it so much I keep it on my fridge!

My mother kept a garden,
a garden of the heart!.
She planted all the good things
that gave my life its start

She turned me to the sunshine
and encouraged me to dream,
Fostering and nurturing
the seeds of self-esteem

And when the winds and rains came,
she protected me enough -
But not too much - she knew I'd need
to stand up strong and tough!.

Her constant good example
always taught me right from wrong -
Markers for my pathway
that will last a lifetime long!.

I am my mother's garden!.
I am her legacy -
And I hope today she feels the love
reflected back from me!.

*I did not write this, wish I had, but I can't take the credit!. I just think it's beautiful and wanted to share!

My elder son calls me Mother, and shows me no affection, but I treasure a little card he once wrote me
"To the most tolerant, most understanding, most generous (in short) the best mom in the world"
and my younger son once told me "Mum, my mates were talking and moaning about when they were kids!.!.!.!.I told them I'd had the best childhood anyone could ever have"
